We are seeking an experienced Medical Science Writer or Medical Communications Specialist to support our research and clinical teams in developing high-quality scientific publications. This contract based role will focus on preparing manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals, abstracts, posters, and presentations that effectively communicate our innovative research in AI-driven precision medicine. This is project-based work with variable hours based on publication needs.

Services

  • Draft, edit, and revise scientific manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed medical journals

  • Prepare abstracts, posters, and presentations for scientific conferences and meetings

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinical researchers, data scientists, and subject matter experts

  • Ensure adherence to target journal guidelines, formatting requirements, and submission protocols

  • Manage the manuscript review process, including addressing reviewer comments and revisions

  • Maintain awareness of current literature in relevant therapeutic areas

  • Assist with literature reviews and reference management

  • Ensure scientific accuracy and clarity in all written materials

Job requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Master’s degree in medical writing (doctorate preferred)

  • Experience with artificial intelligence, precision medicine, or diagnostic technologies

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in medical or scientific writing for peer-reviewed publications

  • Demonstrated track record of successful journal publications

  • Strong understanding of scientific research methodology, biostatistics, and clinical trials

  • Experience with manuscript submission processes and journal requirements

  • Excellent command of medical terminology and ability to translate complex scientific concepts

  • Superior writing, editing, and proofreading skills

  • Ability to work independently while meeting established deadlines

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
